BEIJING - The 2019 Beijing Marathon will be held on Nov 3, according to the organizing committee.

The Beijing Marathon has started the registration last Thursday. There will be 30000 runners participating in the event, and the runners are required to be over 20 years old.

The starting line of the competition is Tiananmen Square and the ending point is the Beijing Olympic Park.

The registration fee for Chinese runners is 200 yuan (about 28 US dollars), while the registration fee for foreign runners is 50 dollars.

The Beijing Marathon will set up competition award, Chinese runners special award and record-breaking award. Male runners who finish within two hours 7 minutes and 16 seconds and female runners finishing within 2:19:39 will be awarded 20,000 USD each.
