A Middle Ages-themed 50th birthday party
Professional magician Jayne Townley rented Banwell Castle in Somerset, UK with her husband Martin, 48, for her 50th birthday.
The mum-of-two enforced a strict costumes-only policy, with her 50 guests dressed as knights and damsels, taking selfies with an animatronic dragon and enjoying jousting, sword fighting, medieval dance and mind reading, and traditional food.
Jayne and Martin are big fans of the medieval era and previously spent ￡5,000 ($6,620) transforming their home into their very own castle – including turning their dining room into a medieval banquet hall.
