Construction of the pavilions for the 2019 Beijing Expo is close to complete, according to organizers on Friday.

The 2019 expo park is expected to open on April 29 next year and the exhibition will last till Oct 7, said Zhou Jianping, deputy director of the Coordination Bureau of Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition.

By now, more than 230 delegations from various countries and domestic cities have been confirmed to participate in the exhibition.
