Sports craze brings fresh blood to commentary

The thrills and chills of winter sports are set to breathe new life into the sports commentary to greet the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Anticipating the demand for fresh talent, Sina Sports hosted the reality show Sports Voice to select new sports commentators, and the show just ushered in its final competition in Beijing on Friday.
Twenty candidates selected nationwide attended the final. Yao Quan from Shanghai has taken the crown and will serve as a professional commentator for Sina Sports in the next year.
The competition lasted three months and welcomed entries from all candidates interested in commentary on sports, including soccer, basketball, winter sports and running.
