Led by President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Sir Philip Craven, members of the IPC Governing Board who are in Beijing to attend the 46th GB meeting visited the construction sites of a number of venues and auxiliary facilities for the Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympic Games on Sunday.

The tour brought them to the National Stadium, National Aquatics Center, National Indoor Stadium, Paralympic Village, Beijing University of Science and Technology Gymnasium and China Agriculture University Gymnasium.

After receiving updates on the progress of the accessible facilities including details of the entrance passes of the Paralympic athletes, Sir Philip Craven expressed his satisfaction. Board members had the same feelings when touring other venues and auxiliary facilities because of the thorough consideration given to accessibility.
